On 1 September 2026 TikTok Shop Singapore replaced its category commission table with one flat rate: 9.810% for standard sellers and 7.085% for BXP sellers, GST included, with a S$30 fee cap on electronics, toys and collectibles. This guide shows who pays more, who pays less, and what it does to real orders. Every number links back to the TikTok Shop Singapore fee calculator.
What changed
| 27 Jul – 31 Aug 2026 | From 1 Sep 2026 | |
|---|---|---|
| Standard commission | 8.175% (6.54% in 202 electronics & appliance categories) | 9.810% in all 2,035 categories |
| BXP commission | 7.085% (5.45% in the same group) | 7.085% everywhere |
| Cap | S$50 in 30 categories | S$30 in 343 categories |
The 3.27% transaction fee and the BXP service fee (3.27% / 5.45%, capped at S$30 per item) did not change.
Everyday products pay more
1,833 categories went from 8.175% to 9.81%, a 1.635-point rise for standard sellers. A S$29.90 serum (cost S$9) now pays S$2.93 commission instead of S$2.44; profit falls from S$17.48 to S$16.99. BXP sellers in these categories see no change at 7.085%.
Electronics: higher rate, lower cap
The 202 categories that paid 6.54% jumped by 3.27 points, but most are now capped at S$30. Which effect wins depends on price:
- A S$399 tablet (previously 6.54%, uncapped): commission S$26.09 → S$30.00, profit S$59.86 → S$55.95.
- A S$499 phone (previously 8.175%, S$50 cap): commission S$40.79 → S$30.00, profit S$61.89 → S$72.68.
At 9.81% the cap binds from about S$305.81, so premium electronics are often cheaper to sell than before.
Is BXP still worth it?
BXP lowers commission by 2.725 points but adds a 3.27% or 5.45% service fee on every completed order (+1.09 during campaigns). Per order BXP costs more in almost every category, so it only pays if the vouchers bring extra sales. Toggle BXP in the calculator with your own price to see the gap.
What to do now
- Recheck prices on low-ticket items in beauty, fashion and food, where the whole 1.635-point rise lands.
- For electronics above S$306, the cap makes bundles and premium models relatively cheaper to sell.
